Our Story

We’re Dhanya & Jerry—parents, IT professionals, and believers in the magic of real-world connections. Our daughter, Sasha, taught us something simple yet profound: kids don’t need familiarity to have fun. They meet, they play, and just like that, they make friends.

But we saw a gap—many kids are limited by location, routine, or digital distractions. Parents struggle to find time for regular playdates, and families of all dynamics—including same-sex parents and children with disabilities—deserve more opportunities to connect.

So, we built Skibboo—a platform that helps kids find playmates and study buddies, anytime, anywhere, with parental supervision.

We’re not just about playdates; we’re building a community. Parents can connect, collaborate, and share responsibilities—whether it’s alternating playdate supervision or organizing group activities.

And it doesn’t stop at play! Our Studydates feature helps parents find kids nearby, in the same grade and syllabus, for fun and effective group study sessions. No more being limited to just familiar faces—brilliance comes from unexpected places!

Our mission? To create a safe, inclusive space where kids make friends, parents find support, and learning and play go hand in hand.
